Blueberry Jam

Make with frozen fruits to make your life easier!


Put the blueberries in a large pan and add the jam sugar. Put the lid on and leave for around 8 hours or overnight.

Slowly heat the jam / sugar mix until the sugar has dissolved

When the sugar has dissolved slowly bring to the boil, eventually working up to a rolling boil.

Using a wooden spoon test for a setting point (Put the spoon in the jam liquid and lift out. When a solid drip can be seen the jam is set)

Pour into sterilised jars and leave to cool.

This jam will keep for 9-12 months

Serves 2 People


A bag frozen blueberries (normally 400g)
The same weight in jam sugar (e.g. if the bag is 400g you will need 400g of sugar)

If you can't find jam sugar you can use standard granulated sugar with added pectin
